Brunei government announces relaxation of entry restrictions from October 15, Great

Brunei government announced the relaxation of restrictions on entry into Brunei from October 15.

These include that immigrants must hold a 48-hour negative report for a kernelic acid test, Brunei Government also mentioned they must be fully vaccinated for more than 14 days and immigrants must be quarantined in designated hotels for 1 to 7 days, which is subject to the country of departure risk assessment of the entry.

Deputy Minister of Health of Thailand too mentioned that, Thailand epidemic continues to improve, ready to welcome the return of international tourists.

China-ASEAN International Forum on Traditional Medicine and Health Tourism was held in Bama, Guangxi, the hometown of longevity in the world. Sopeng Meitun delivered a video speech at the forum.

According to Sopeng Meitun, tourism is one of the important pillar industries of Thailand’s economy. In 2019, Thailand received nearly 4000 thousand foreign tourists, of which 1100 million Chinese tourists. However, in 2020, after the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, only 670 million visitors visited Thailand.
