China Merchants Industry held a 45000 cubic meter “LNG-JIAXING” delivery ceremony in Shekou. China Merchants Bureau Finance Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Merchants Leasing), Far East Shipping and China Merchants Industry signed the delivery documents.
China Merchants Industry “LNG-JIAXING” is a 45000 cubic meter LNG transport ship entered the ABS classification society to deliver LNG transportation using the “LNT A-BOX” cargo maintenance system developed by Norway’s LNG New Technologies (LNT). The ship has a total of 3 cans, and the master cabin has a capacity of about 45,000 cubic meters.
The tank system gives LNG ships lower evaporation rate, more efficient cabin utilization and more efficient hull line design, especially suitable for LNG transportation in coastal areas, and can also cope with global operations.
The ship is equipped with a Wiselon cargo handling system to realize the functions of cargo loading/unloading, barge transportation, forced evaporation, automatic pressure control, etc.
Dual-fuel mainframe and dual-fuel generator are adopted to further improve the economic and environmental performance of ships. Nitrogen oxide emissions meet IMO Tier III standards. At the same time, they are equipped with gearboxes, shaft belt generators that combine PTO/PTI, adjustable propellers, and bow pushes.
At present, 23 commercial operations have been safely completed, mainly in Singapore, Malaysian Dulu, Indonesia, and LNG docks in Shanghai, Zhoushan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Qidong, Jiaxing and other LNG docks in Southeast Asia.
